On one late night when a woman walks home, something stalks close behind with a maddening "Tap, tap, tap".

I included both the original and rewritten bits. Both were written by me. I had an inspiration for this story and that was from the Lewton bus scene in the 1942 movie,"Cat People". The first lines in the original," I heard an erratic tapping, a mad rapping, on the braised faces of the shining stone walk." That line I immediately thought of and basically just built around that. I don't really have a lot more to say about this. I am not all that happy with it as I know I can do better but I am finding it challenging to get a proper hold on the words that I do want. I see a lot of stuff I want to change and improve with my words. I ain't all that great at writing yet but I am always eager to better myself in my skills and learn more. I hope my writing ain't too bad.
