13-14 years ago, some asshole on Plattsburgh, NY threw a tiny little ball of fur out of a moving car (yes, there is still a standing bounty on his head, should I ever figure out who did it). Tiny little thing, maybe not even weaned.

13-14 years ago, one of my friends left her post at work, picked up this tiny little ALIVE ball of fur, and brought her home. I couldn't say no.

For 13-14 years, she gave me some of the best goddamn memories I have, some of the worst anxiety I've ever had, and goddammit, I fought to make sure daddy would always be there for her for four goddamn states.

13-14 years later, I held onto her, pet her, and told her it was okay to go. I got one last purr out of her, and then, at 10:45 am, on May 24, 2018, we had to say goodbye.
