Is that Rhodia dotpad paper? Rhodia paper isn't bad, it takes liquid ink quite well on the top side. It's better than most of what you'll get today in the average shop. It definitely goes nicely with the drawin, especially the pink shirt and the lovely fern design on it. To my eyes, you've really made that dot pad work for you. I can really just imagine that t-shirt in a clothes shop too. I can close my eyes and imagine walking around in one and seeing it. Very cute whiskers and nice graduations of colours inside the ears. The shark's tooth(?) necklace looks very pleasing in front of the ferns too.
