It's not too hard to find it via torrents :P It was a pretty horribly movie, but it had its fun parts, and the lynx characters were cool.

Oh, it was very cute :3 It was mostly the rather campy supporting characters, and animation quality that doesn't quite reach the standards set by previous feature length films that kinda got to me. Then again, I'm super picky about the latter. The two lynx characters, though, are a blast, and the reason I was attracted to the film in the first place!

And I just realized that I never commented on the art itself o_o Very cute rendition! I think this is the first fanart I've seen, and it's always pleasing to see drawings of more obscure characters.

Sadly, there isn't enough fanart on El Lince Perdido. I've searched DA and FA when it came out and there was only lone Astarte then. I've drawn a simple pic with Lynxette and Felix looking into each others eyes, and that's pretty much all. So, that's the third fanart on the movie I've ever seen (I'm afraid the third one in the whole world too). And finally, it's something with high quality and with cuteness competing with the original movie!

I know I'm biased. I like lynxes a lot. :) But anyway, it's a good movie no matter what. Yeah, there's no Pixar-style fur, but with the amount of money Kandor Moon got it was impossible to draw it. The story itself isn't very original, with bad guys kidnapping good guys and other good guys trying to save them, but the story does have some twists which arrest attention. The characters are vivid and memorable. Almost no one is super-evil or super-good which is sadly seen way too often.

There're a lot of little nice things... Like well known art pieces being discussed by the soldiers, or reference to The Lion King, The Great Escape and a lot of others. People say, for Spanish the scene with eagle carrying a goat is very well known ("El Hombre y la Tierra" series) etc.

Nowadays Pixar sets standards. Design is more important than the story. :( And box office proves that.

It's easy to get DVD rip and DVD from torrents, but I can't find two disk edition with additional materials and things like that...

Awww, cuteness! I liked that music video too. I kept cracking up at the chameleon on guitar, when he does the Gene Simmons impression, and then smahing his guitar at the end. X3

Oh, I liked the animation in the video, and the animation of the actual film they showed sounded interesting too.
I know it's presumptuous to form an opinion on only a few seconds of footage, but it still made me wary of whether the film would tell a good story. Ah well, might see it anyway.

I've seen the movie, and I really liked it! Cute and funny, and you don't see many lynxes in movies these days! ^.^

Being spaniard, I'm quite dissapointed with the animated movies we produce here :/ The lynx is cute, and the animation is OK, but the movie is bad: childish, slow, stupid, you name it. Besides, they don't really have fur, they look more like balloons..

I consider El Lince Perdido a true masterpiece and a strong competitor for the Academy Award. A truly out of the mold, delightful movie that keep us with surprise after surprise.

I only have seen trailers and some videos, but not the movie. Some people say me that is bad, some that it's ok... but I think that the pair of persons who say me that was ok were suggested by the fact that the film is Andalusian like us (Andalusia is in the south of Spain). The video is cool, anyway :)
