Gameday- Okage! The Shadow Knows... Too Much.
Good morrow to you, sexy-bad beasties! *pops her neck* You know, I was thinking about that last image I posted and the journal I just wrote and thought that maybe I might be giving off the wrong impression about a change in direction for the show here towards the depressing and snuff-porn, so I think maybe we need some lighter fare...
Let's talk about some games, then! ...and peeing. *snerks*
Very few would deny that the PS2 had a humongous library and because it had such a Gigantor library of titles to choose from, there were a huge amount of both absolutely stellar, groundbreaking and genre-defining titles and a surprising number of over-looked gems. For my money, one of the latter was definitely "Okage: The Shadow King".
A wonderful little JRPG, generally best known for it's unusual visual style, I've discovered over the years that I'm not alone in my appreciation of this title. For my money, the game has the best qualities I want in an RPG, or any game for that matter- First and foremost, a good story that keeps me intrigued from beginning to end with an ending that I still recall fondly for the bittersweet feeling of a story completed being a story finished. The little bit of romance didn't hurt... *sighs dreamily* The game's collection of quirky characters and off-beat humour still keep it on my top-ten list for PS2, if not my all-time "Every-So-Often" list.
About the only complaint I have would be that although there are a good number of characters to play with by the final chapter, the number of actions available to each feels limited and combat can get repetitive, especially when you get to the inevitable "Grind to Survive" portions of the game. *groans a little* I suppose some of the characters fall into the "trope" categories but... with the nature of the narrative -which I WILL not spoil for anyone who hasn't played it yet- that kiiiind of has a reason to it.
Still, Okage will always be one of those games I think back on fondly from time to time, like a good book. I recall every little spoiler and plot twist but I still have to blow off the dust and pop it back into the system so I can experience the struggle of Ari, Stanley Trinidad Hi-hat The XIIIth and their friends all over again. Highly recommended.
And to those of you shouting from the stands "But Ashe, you latex-coated goat-fetishist, there IS a HD remake on PS4!" I do realize that. I, however, do not have a PS4.... also, to my knowledge, that remake is download-only and I'm one of those weirdos who demands a physical copy of the media I "own".
So, stop your moaning that all games are the same these days and get a copy of "Okage: The Shadow King", slap that sucker in your PS2 or 3 or... whatever and go nuts. You have my personal guarantee that it'll definitely be better than anything you catch hanging out in an alleyway for the weekend. *titters* No, seriously, it's fun. Play the damned game. *bows and kisses your hand* One World and One Love, you gaming ghoulies...

*grins, blushing* I really liked this one, cutie. You look both adorably pitiful and yet very sexy there...and this could be another example of a comic of yours that helped me realize I have kinks/fetishes about things I didn't previously give much though to!
As for the game itself, never got to play much of it except a demo, but this visual style was neat, and your high praise makes me want to give the game another go someday. *smooches*

Awww.... *smiles* Yays! I made my wife realize she has a kink about... peeing.... *head tilts* This is an honour I shall wear with pride at the first PTA meeting I ever attend. I add it to the laundry list of kinks I have introduced you to and all the ones we have yet to fully explore...
As to the game, you know I have it, right, angel-bottom?
I got game....

I don't mean to butt into this conversation, but I have to admit, that this has amused me greatly-and therefore I needed to let you both know that. *Chuckles and tips head to the side*
I have to admit I am not interested in being peed on,but in the Dom and Sub world I don't mind using peeing as a degradation thing and what not (if they're into that). I'm odd I know. *Shrugs*
If y'all ever come up this way,we have a PS4 and I'd totally let yah come over and play that game,we'd just have to download it for yah. *Grins*

More than urophagia, the big part of the peeing issue would be for both humiliation and tormenting bad girls who need to go by not letting them. *titters, rocking in her chair with malefic giggles, fangs bared at Krissie* So, you're not odd at all, my demonic dearheart...
Well humiliation and torment are also a big part of the BDSM world for some-also since there is orgasm control and denial,I could easily see how the same with peeing could be done;and be seen as fun. There isn't much I'm not willing to do when it comes to the BDSM world. I've dabbled in many things, and as long as I am the Dom,I don't have any true issues. So I bid you a lot of fun with this new discovery. *Grins wide chuckling* Well I know I am the definition of odd,but luckily not in this situation.. *Sticks tongue out at with a smile*
*blushes, lowering her ears and smiling sheepishly* yes, *that* primarily ... Among other things you've mentioned, and then there's the odd fact that I think I just feel "cute" to be given attention while peeing or being teased about always having to pee (I drink too much damn coffee!). Like when I was still figuring out garter belts and you had to help me figure out how peeing works with one on. *grins* I still found that situation to be adorable...I feel giddy and rambly because it's kind of freeing to talk about a kink/oddity that I'm still shy about..but anyway...
*smooches* I love yoooooou!
*smooches* I love yoooooou!
I love you too, mein engel. *smiles, slowly baring her fangs and lightly kisses your wrist*
I am, however, finding it somewhat odd that what started as a comic about an old favourite rpg of mine has evolved, very quickly, I might add, into a discussion of peeing in public, exhibitionism, torture, humiliation, and the intricacies of our Mastress/Subject relationship... *shrugs* Oh well. Commence Au Festivale...

Yay!! I'm not sure what PTA stands for...? but you've got me curious now...
I do! There's just that rule of mine i try to uphold...finish the damn games I've already started before I pick up any new ones. I say that, but well...started up Lucky's Tale as well...great Goaty goodness, but that game is adorable...all hail the cuddly mascot platformers!

Oh man that was the first PS4 game I ever played! I loved the art style of it, but sadly it will probably never get a re-release... nowhere near popular enough. :c
Fun fact: thats not the only thing that artist did. I can't for the life of me find them, but they did a series of gothic graphic novels. I'll let you know if I manage to track them down.
EDIT: Didn't take as long as I thought it would! https://www.amazon.com/Once-Upon-Ni.....g=dp1tz&psc=1&refRID=RNK77VVFVJMG3D94S6CG&dpID=51ZGv1UkLmL&preST=_SY291_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_&dpSrc=detail

That is a bitter pill to swallow, love. *sighs* Oh well... I'm sure we'll see that with all the newest technology at the disposal of the biggest development teams, surely we'll see more innovation and -
You know, I can't even finish that statement as a joke.... *chuckles, rubbing her forehead*
Now, this graphic novel issue is interesting to me, love.... I may have to look into that. *smiles* Thank you for the heads up and ray of sunshine. *hugs*

We'll always have emulation and pirating Ashley. :P
But yeah, a cult classic like Okage may be great in of itself, but they base what gets remade on sales and while Okage was unique and unusual... it got overlooked for more flashy titles and big names like many did back then. Also, the company that made it, Zener Works, hasn't put out anything since 2012 so...
Still, comics are great. That artist has a ton of 'em out too. She even did a nifty series about Disney stories as told from the point of view of the Villains. https://www.amazon.com/Serena-Valen.....ne_cont_book_1
