color schemes for a bunch of GUYs,
left to right, top to bottom;
Guy White
Guy Red
Guy Green
Guy Blue
Guy Black
Guy Orange
Guy Yellow
Guy Purple
Guy Pink
Guy Gold
Guy Ranger
Guy Ultra (as in ultramarine, the shade of blue)
Guy Rain
Guy Brown
Guy Steel
Guy Cyan
the GUYs are the first truly multi-produced cyborg units, due to having a good balance of mobility, survivability, intelligence and raw strength. they can fulfill a number of roles, ranging from shock troopers and marksmen, to command and control, and even, on occasion, the role of a chef. due to their commanding presence, standing an impressive 3 meters above the ground, they are usually assigned as squad leaders for less disciplined or trained units. because of this unique role, they have also received a command interface module... which takes the form of what appears to be their hat, which is in fact an advanced radar and communications array (explaining the somewhat awkward shape)
notable guy models;
Guy White - First completed GUY, and somewhat of a test model. Has a few added tricks up his sleeve due to being a prototype, but also suffers from a few drawbacks in terms of performance stability.
Guy Red - Although insignificant at first, his burned corpse is resurrected into the powerful new leader of the cyborg legions.
Guy Blue - The first cyborg to attain free will through a failed OS reboot, and the first leader of the rebellion. His reign is short, but his impact is significant enough to warrant a 'tribute' from the others, in the form of Guy Ultra.
Guy Steel - One of the last GUYs produced, he is much more advanced and refined than his brothers. As he is not completed by the time of the initial rebellion, he does not make an appearance until later. He is used as the base for the improved Sinitronic series of artificial cyborgs.
while most of them are named after colors, there are a few who deviate from this rule, notable examples being Guy Ranger, who is built to last in a woodland environment for longer periods of time, acting as a scout, Guy Rain, who serves no specific purpose related to water despite his name, and Guy Steel, the 'final' iteration of the GUY design.
another important thing to note is that these are 'human' cyborgs... in that they are built around a donor brain and spine for nervous feedback. artificial cyborgs, by contrast, are entirely vat-grown.
