This is my buddy/partner Totodlie. In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team I was a Charmander and my partner was a Totodile, I gave myself a little backstory for fun and when through the game with it.

If you've ever played a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game you'll know what I mean when I say you get attached to your partner. I'm not going to spoil the ending of any of the games (well I'll try not too) but if you have played Red Rescue Team you'll....you know what I cant think of anything that wont spoil the ending so im going to do this.

anyway where was I, oh yea if you played Red Rescue Team you know how sad the ending is when you leave your partner, but you come back and everything is ok and you keep on rescuing pokemon.

Then came Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers Of Sky, again I was a Charmander and my partner was a Totodile, I played the game as if I was the same person/pokemon from Red Rescue Team and added a little backstory to fill in the gap, would say what it was but I dont want this to be too long but if you really want to know just ask and I will tell you.

again if you played Explorers Of Sky then you know how easy it is to become attached to your partner sad the ending is, you fade from existence but the somehow come back (I still dont full understand it but oh well) and you and your partner keep on doing explorations, but because I was pretending my partner was the same partner from the last game I grow even more attached to him and it was extra sad for me at the end but all ended well.

I skipped Gates To Infinity because I couldn't play as a Charmander and have a Totodile partner so I moved onto the last one, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon which is my favourite on of them all (That I played) it has the best story, gameplay,graphic and music oh I LOVE the music in that game epically the partners theme. sorry got off topic there.

Anyway again I filled in the gap between Explorers Of Sky and Super Mystery Dungeon with my own back story and once again I was Charmander with, you guested it a Totodile partner but

this time the story didnt start the same as the others and that court me off guard. luckily it wasnt too different and soon I got to my partner and I was happy. the way they did the partner in this game made me fall in love with him so quickly and add on top that I was thinking it was the same Totodile from the last two games and how I felt about them, I began to think of you partner as a REAL friend, a best friend who has been with me through soo much.


MAJOR SPOILERS



As you play through Super Mystery Dungeon you learn your partner is no all what he seems and in fact he is actually a Mew reincarnated as what ever pokemon you choses your partner to be, in my case a Totodile and at the end if you played the rest of the game before this you think you'll fade back to the Human world at the end but the game M Night Shyamalan you and your partner fades and then disappears. At that point I was in such a state, I was crying like a baby, I final felt the pain my partner felt when I disappeared right in front of him and it hurt soo soo much and since I was pretending he was the same partner from the other games and how much I was attached to him it felt like 1000 knifes were stabbing me at once.

I was a wreck, for the next couple of days I was looking online to see if there was a was to get my partner nay my best friend back and I found a page that I had to keep playing and he would come back. The next day aster that I was on the late shift at work and all I could think about was getting home and playing Super Mystery Dungeon and seeing if I could get my friend back it was so bad that when we were closed I was pacing at the door like a caged dragon, waiting for someone to unlock it so I could go home and play. When I finally got home I immediately started playing and got to the point where I got my partner/best friend back, I was over the moon and I was crying tears of joy.


From that point I wanted to have my own Totodile and I wanted him to be my partner Totodile but there was one problem, if I did him like from the game he would of looked like a normal Totodile and people would say "so what its a normal Totodile big deal" and I didnt want that so I spent some time thinking and came up with the idea to draw a Totodile with a Mew and some Mew colours and thats what I did.
