With the little troublemaker temporarily silenced by the glove he’d been given, Fane finally had a few moments to himself. With a sigh he looked out onto the setting sun. It was the same as back in his days yet the world it was setting over was different, it had grown completely alien to the eternal. But even so there was something fascinating about it, oddly beautiful.

Out of the corner of his eye Fane noticed a small creature fluttering in the air, a butterfly as he recalled. He tilted his head just slightly and reached one hand towards it with unmasked curiosity. He was careful not to touch it though as its wings seemed even more brittle than the thin body they supported. The butterfly came to rest at the tip of one of the skeleton’s fingers making him chuckle under his breath as he admired the tiny being. As he studied the strange patterns he was left wondering how something so fragile could even exist. Yet with a quick glance at the miniature human at his side, a heavy sigh and a shake of his head he realized the futility of asking such questions.

The little human turned his head up to meet Fane’s gaze and smiled just before a single gloved finger moved to gently boop the top of his head. It slid back and forth a couple times as Fane looked back at his hand just in time to see the butterfly take flight again.

“Do you know, maybe there is something worthwhile to find in this new world of yours, little guy.”

I just... I just love their art so much, honestly. Just look at those colors, the shading on the robes... Everything just looks so... right to me in this. If I had more money I'd probably go ahead and commission them again. In fact, I probably will once I do! Assuming they have free slots and such.
