Boy am I tired of looking at that damn airplane. I'll be glad when this flight lesson group is done because the airplane takes a long time if I really want it to look good.

Thanks man. I'm not sure if it was the most exhilarating, but it's up there pretty close. I'd never heard of the XP-55, had to look it up. Not the most attractive thing in the world, but then there were a lot of those back in the day.

Heh, just wait till he has to try and land the thing, I wonder how cruel his trainer will be to him. :) Where are the endless suburbs around Boston. I guess this is really an alternative dimension. :

Naw, just much later future with a lot more thought into how cities are designed. Not that Chucky's Boston isn't quite large.

You actually taking lessons huh? Good stuff guy. I grew up around it and had to do it. Getting your "license" is one thing you will always be proud of above most else. It was for me.

My private license was probably the one I was most proud of. I got it in 1996, but the memories are vivid. Although I swear it was even more of a thrill the first couple times I took people up, realizing that it was all my responsibility.

Same here, I figured my instructor would take off and let me fly around once we got up in the air a ways. But it's a quick confidence builder.
