That night, Ferdinand put on black clothes and a mask to hide his face then quietly tiptoed into town. As he was walking past windows, he peeked inside to make sure everyone was in bed. Then, he crept inside and stole many of their things! Tossing them all in a big black sack, he brought them all back to his den. Completely happy with his nights work, he tucked himself in bed and went soundly to sleep. When the sun came up the next morning, he pretended as if nothing happened! Unpacking his sack, he arranged everything in his home like he had them for a very long time.
