Another alien species i designed. They are some kind of reptile-insect hybrids. They've got three compound eyes and feathery antennae which capture airflows so they can hear. The hands on their four arms are very elongated so they need special handles on objekts to use them properly. They are a predatory species and can use their strong fingers as piercing weapon while hunting. Hands, feet and their backsides are covered in hard scales but when confronted with a dangerous foe they prefer to flee. For this they can curl up and put the shield on their tailtips on their head protecting the sensitive antennae. Then they use their arms and legs to push themselves forward and roll away.
These are their natural abbilities but they are a intelligent species capable of communicating with a language consisting of growls and clicks. Since they don't have facial musculature they use their antennae to show their emotions by changing their colour.
They also use advanced technology. Their weapon of choice are small combat drones that they controll by using a screen on one of their eyes and movement sensors on their fingertips.
