This was very much inspired by Prince and Purple Rain. It's still a work in progress . . . One I haven't touched in forever. Again my fear of what I might do with the color. But honestly, I think I will work on it again. Someday.

Neways, this was Pre-Yellow Submarine*. If I do adapt this piece to something different OMG the background will be more psychedelic. It definitely needs more color and a watercolor treatment. I guess I should buy that ridiculous light table er light board so I can trace things onto prettier paper for watercolor works.

As you can see Ottery is from the Steampunk era by way of Prince's fashion sense and colored pencil art. Still not finished, a more inspired piece and one I love.

*My having viewed Yellow Submarine, because clearly this wasn't drawn back then it would pre-date Purple Rain and the furry fandom now wouldn't it?
