The original cars were drawn from Akira Toriyama art, a.k.a. chapter covers for Shonen Jump's Dragonball.
I love that man's attention to detail and his ability to cartoonify anything. A true genius and talent and someone I admire greatly.
It also started me on drawing cars and trying to cartoonify them myself.
