DISCLAIMER: This comic is for adults only.
Notes: Thus, this comic claims its first "on-screen" victim. Then again, technically, this happened before the comic began, so... does it count? Either way, R.I.P. Farin's dad (2018-2018). Next week we'll be wrapping up this flashback sequence. See ya!

there are actually 3 sides to every story...
Your side, where you relate thing's from your perspective.
Their side, where they relate thing's from there perspective.
The truth, where perspective is removed and only a true chronological order of events and precursing events that lead up to them. simply explained by the perceptions of the persons involved.

Poor Kei. I hope he found peace in whatever lay next.
I can see that maybe Sekk'ral was banished because he protested the other dragon's brutal regime that was the cause of Kei's death.
Either way, Fai will understand the elder's concern, but the love of his mate will conflict against the truth.

I can see Farin getting away then confronting Sekk'ral with this story. After that he may find out that it is the truth plus the real reason it happened and, as others here suggest, it was the reason he left the other dragons. The hard tragedy would be if Sekk'ral actually led that attack for possibly even justifiable reasons and that he left because of deep regret at his own actions. We shall see.
for what it's worth—and assuming the two love birds are about equal in age—sekk'ral woulda been quite the young pup to have been leading such a deadly charge, 18 years back
not implausible...
...but, hopefully, improbable
(i don't know enough about this universe to decide on what could be "what?" either way)

(i forgot that GS has mentioned sekk'ie´s age in the character write-up
whoopsie-doodle!)
in that case, it is plausible, at the very least, during some Siege, a 9-year-old sekk'ral coulda rammed a spear through one of those, uh...
...lanky foxes
no problems there
who knows?
