I was working on my DnD characters backstory a bit and ended up writing some stuff about his father so I spent some time drawing him out and ended up really liking his design so this is Lord Baelphas a general of the Infernal plane and Malphas' father who will be appearing in our campaign at some point apparently because my DM enjoyed what i wrote and drew :P Hes not a super traditional Pit Fiend by the DnD book as they usually use a mace and are drawn much bulkier, and probably don't have flaming wings but I had a few story elements I wanted to add to his design and I also wanted him to look similar to his son.

also he is 12ft tall so that is a greatsword hes holding and then a proper greatsword made of lava on his back XD

used Photoshop CS5, Paint tool sai (for the fire), and Wacom intuos 4 medium
