Ugh, I wish I could go, but since we're so short-handed at work, they're not goin' to be approving any time-off requests until January 1st, haha. I was actually planning on putting in a request about two weeks ago for the time off, but that same day, they told us about their fun plans. I was ultra disappointed! x)

I really ought to find a better job, lol. And a day one at that. Working 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. shifts is just no fun anymore! x)

And yes, I'll keep adding pictures as they're taken of me, I'm still tryin' to get a 1Ds Mark II to work out for me, or at least a 5D again, hehe.

oh wow lol shooting for the big guns huh? Hey why not right? XD But wow 1Ds, don`t you mean mark III? I don`t recall of a mark II. The 5D is a good one too just without the battery grip. I`d like to try to get some more stuff for my camera at some point like a telephoto lens (or more range of zoom lens), but I`m on a big spending freeze at the moment because I need to save up to get a car, then having to take care of registration and prepare to move when the time comes. Once all is settled though and I get an idea of how much money I can spend, then I`ll go back to putting money aside to get more stuff for my camera! It`s funny, I carry everything with my camera in a camera hiking bag. And by everthing, I mean EVERYTHING. Like the chargers, batteries, filters, lenses, anything I have for the camera, I have it in the bag lol. The only thing that I don`t have in it (because there`s no room) is the sun guard for my 85mm f1.4D Lens lol. Yet somehow I`ve managed to fit my recent purchase of a used but in good condition Nikon F100 film camera. Why film? Well I wanted to try out film again to be able to make prints with black and white film and then I wanted to see what the results would look like if I used something like my circular polarizer with color film. Well good luck with your job! Can`t wait to hear of any updates with the 1Ds or 5D!

There's really a 1Ds Mark II, I swear! They were the Mark III of 2004, haha.

At first, when I had a Rebel XTi and its kit lens, I could fit those in a bag, but the lenses and goodies I have force me to use a backpack. And the 1-series bodies are huge, so I might need to invest in a forklift, too. x)

I've been playing around with film off-and-on for the past few months, too, I got a sweet deal on an EOS 3. I've only used Ilford Delta Pro 100 and 400 films so far, and those seem to put out nice results. I'd like to buy my own enlargers and darkroom stuff someday, but a digital body is gonna come first, hehe.

I shall update when good news with a camera happens! x)
