A vampire noble by the name of ‘Lord Edmund’ recently hired Rhiak due to her special talents and the overall nature of her magic. He is seeking a potion that could allow him to walk in daylight for its duration, but this is a harder task than it seems. All of Rhiak’s knowledge points to the fact that this potion is almost impossible to make due to the rare ingredients and specificity of the time it must be created. She’s pretty sure it won’t work. But she’s getting paid 100 gold a day to work at this guy’s castle so..she might as well pretend to be trying, right? It’s also worth noting that she has developed somewhat of a relationship with Edmund, as well as a far traveler by the name of Kyle. Rhiak enjoys being surrounded by beautiful men, and is secretly hoping to add to her ‘collection.’ Somebody please tell this woman what she is looking for is called a harem!
Regardless, when she isn’t working on a large project for a benefactor, Rhiak thoroughly enjoys playing her harp at the local tavern, or going on adventures to discover new species of flora and different ways to utilize their properties. She wishes to learn all there is too be learned, but she has a long ways to go.

Those born in the Moonsong family have a powerful magic in their blood, but only a select few are born able to weild it properly. The gift of magic was granted to the Moonsong family centuries ago, when Rhiak’s great x4 grandfather saved an injured unicorn from being devoured by a pack of wolves. As a symbol of her gratitiude, she blessed the man who saved her, imbuing him with a magic so potent that it would be able to be passed down through blood alone.
Unicorns are known for their connection to the moon, thus the Moonsong family was able to harness it’s magical energy for their own use. Members of the family that are able to use this magic are born with golden eyes and claws, and sport a golden horn similar to the unicorn that blessed them so long ago.
