Preek was a star-nosed mole slave messenger who contracted rabies. In an attempt to save her, the baron's witches tried to transfer the disease to Winter, whose magic body is immune to diseases, but it failed, and she died, but their souls connected a short while. In contravention to funerary customs, Preek's body was burned instead of buried, which left a cinder of her as an angry ghost.

Winter was modified as a fetus by the power of a hungry sea god who would someday take their soul. On a Command they had to try and save Preek, but they got to experience emotions and freedom for the first time in their life when their souls linked.

Fast forward several months and skip over a dozen shenanigans, Winter sacrifices themself to calm Preek's ghost. Together their souls are absorbed by the sea god.

My friends made me suffer with this, so I am making them suffer in return by drawing it.

that's basically a summary of 6 months worth of gameplay though

i mostly drew this to torment everyone who thought this horrible miserable thing was a good idea YOU ALL WILL SUFFER FOR YOU SINS WITH ME
