There are times, oh wretched times
Where I begin to wonder;
Thinking where it all went wrong,
Where first began the blunder.
Nothing seems to reach my heart,
I take it as a sin.
I feel being ripped apart,
By festering within.
And yet when times are dark and dim,
My soul cannot ignore
The single solitary one,
At my mental door.
No matter how far pain may go,
Despite what I’ve been seeing,
I know there will be at least one,
Perfect, fictional being.
