Yes, the perspective on that is also something that's driving me a little batty D:

You could try having the beast/creature motioned as if it's climbing up there.
Like with the paws/claws on the cliff.

Dunno if you've played with it at all, but I see a somewhat misty waterfall in the distance with a light layer of clouds. A hidden moon, with no stars. Kind of mystical.

*shrug*

I actually really like that idea. I already had a waterfall sketched back there and was thinking clouds and cliffs would be a good way to go, but I'm not sure...LoLo suggested a beach scene, which would mean the creature would have to be scaley and not furry...

I'm thinking I'll sketch out both ideas and put it up to a vote.

Of course, I'm still open to more ideas. I do like the idea of moonlight being the light source, though.

That sounds good too. I was thinking more of a mystic ruins or the remains of a Greek/Roman/Norse city/temple, cause I know how much you love the mythos.
