For many years, she longed for excitement outside the everyday life of school and her relatively normal life. As fun as it was to hang out with friends of all races, to read about mysterious entities, and spread rumours about sinister corporations taking over the world, she wanted to live those very things. She wanted to be one of the furrier or scalier races for a change. She wanted to come upon the Elemental Guardians and see them with her eyes. She wanted to be captured by Vybrylon and mutated as part of their diabolical schemes! Well, okay, maybe not that last one. Either way, she wanted to live a life on the more fantastical side of things.

"So, that's your desire, eh?"

A furry, chimerical hippie woman, Lynzie, said as she sat beside the girl on the warm sands of a beach looking out to the ocean, it's ever-moving waters reflecting the soft blue sky above. The girl nodded, to which the chimerical woman replied with a smile.

"I think I can help ya with that."

The girl was startled as Lynzie rested her hands on her shoulders, but before she could inquire, Lynzie comforted her with her words, while smooth energies flowed into the girl. Her body relaxed in peace, the sensations so wondrous.

"I cannot make all your dreams come true, but I can do... this..."

With that, Lynzie molded the girl with her hands, her words, and by Bliss's wondrous power. Clothing vanished as the girl's legs morphed out together, joining the spine to become the lower body of an aquatic mammal to thrust her towards her desires. Her fingers were joined by webbing to assist in her navigation. While her hair disappeared, the back portion of her head extended out into a short, smooth protrusion that would help the world flow around her. Her skin took on a myriad of pinks, reds, and magentas as it became scaly enough to protect her from the environment she'd be entering. And last but not least, her breasts surged to rival her head, filling the girl with wondrous delight as she embraced her new form. Her smile grew large as her transformation was complete.

"There! You're scaly, you're similar in form to those undines, and you could swim across the ocean and pay Vyb-" Lynzie started to joke, but cut herself off. "Actually, maybe just stay close to home for now," she chuckled, as she rubbed the girl's shoulder.

The girl-turned-mermaid looked up to Lynzie, thanking her for what she had done, and giving the chimerical woman a big hug, as much as she could from her legless stance.

"My pleasure! And if you ever wish to be back, just return to shore with that desire, and you're legs will return."

With another thanks and a big smile, the girl propelled herself over towards the water, splashing into its crisp blue surface. After a few moments, she appeared on the surface, waving a friendly goodbye to Lynzie, before she disappeared into the ocean of her fantasies.

I've had a mermaid sketch lying around for a few months now, one that I had drew at work. And with MerMay having arrived, I felt it was the perfect time to finally get it more finished up.

So here's a colourful mermaid and a quick little story I wrote for it. ^^
