The Map Tree frog, native to South America, gets its name from the pattern on its back. The wiggly black lines and white dots mimic the etchings on a map.
This is a one-of-a-kind, handmade sculpture. It's made of a gourd, wire, and epoxy clay, with original glass eyes. It measures 7" long. This sculpture can also hang on a wall with the wire loop on its belly.
This and 14 other sculptures were made for a May-July exhibit happening in Greensboro, NC.
