Noticed some parallels between these two, and decided it'd be a really good contrast of progress.
May 2011- I was a sophomore in high school, and I drew this in the school's computer lab. The school building itself was brand new (less than a year, and they had a massive budget) so it had a lot of neat fancy media tech there including a small recording studio, film equipment, and the first drawing tablets I ever got to experiment with.
May 2018- I'm now somewhere in between college classes, working part-time, and have a lot more experience with digital and traditional art under my belt. My fursona has gone through a bunch of design iterations, especially recently, since my own hairstyle is different from week to week. But the more she changes, the more elements remain consistent. But god dammit look how cute and anime she is with that little bob style. Also now I know a little more about what chinchillas, the ANIMAL SHE'S BASED ON, looks like.
