Reason for Absence
Well, I've been away for a long time, again. No big surprise. But, instead of goofing off, or playing games, I'm away because I'm in a relationship.
As far as I can remember (which isn't that far), I haven't said anything about my relationship. So gather round, kids. It's story time. For those of you who don't want a backstory, skip the next 2 paragraphs.
Long ago, in Hawaii, during the month of April of 2009, a convention was held. The Kawaii Kon. I was invited to attend via my school's Anime and Manga club. I hitched a ride with my friend who was picking up other people who were going too. It was there I first met who would later be my mate. My friend told me of another furry who went to our school. I had no idea who he was talking about. Once we had arrived at the Hawaii Convention Center, we kept ourselves busy by attending some of the attractions. I seemed to be an attraction myself, as I had a very nice Auron costume from Final Fantasy X. (I even made a bet with my friend that I'd get 20 people to take my picture by the end of the day. Naturally, I won.)
As time passed at the convention, I sat alone talking with my soon-to-be-mate, Jesse. We found out we liked and disliked very similar things. I even stood up for him when someone tried to disrespect furries. Over time, we grew close, and he came to sleep over at my house one night. We actually did very little sleeping. The next day, we talked, along with our mutual closet emergence, and decided we were going to be mates. However, we decided to keep it a secret since I have a reputation at school for being a sort of 'Sephiroth' type person (you know, an emotionally distant sadist with a superiority complex except with touches of voraphilia).
All of that being said, I drew this picture because despite being a furry, my mate didn't have a fursona. So, we created one. This is Rylen. His last name escapes me at the moment, but I will edit this when I find out. As you can guess, my mate is a bit of a raver. But, that fishnet makes him look so tasty, doesn't it?
(And to be honest, you wouldn't be far off. ;D)
