Well I came up with this character a lil while ago. And for a change I'm going to have him give ya some info. Hehe. ^^

"I am Seevus. My people are the Veken. We are a race created by humanity. Our DNA is comprised of human, reptile, and avian. We are stronger, faster, more agile, and most importantly smarter then humans. Thanks to our avian genes we not only have a light and durable skeleton but a brain which although comparable in size to a human one and in basic arrangement but is far more efficient. We can soak up knowledge and learn new skills far more easily then a human could. Our kind were created to serve humanity. We were to be their new soldiers, laborers, and lab specimens. The later two were in the works. We were used as labor force in factories building things too sensitive in secrecy or too hazardous for human labor forces. We were also used as lab rats in many of the labs in which we were first created. We were kept ignorant of knowledge and docile by mental conditioning as well as sedatives mixed with our food and water. I myself lived within the walls of a lab. I worked as maintenance there. I listened to the guards and learned. I was the most pleasant to them as possible. Finally one day I saw my chance. I was in my cell and the guard had left me unrestrained and turned his back on me having forgotten something from the food cart. I jumped him and snapped his neck. I took his weapon and made my escape. I spent several day lurking around a nearby town and learning all I could. After learning to read I managed to discretely acquire a computer and familiarized myself with it. I learned many things from it. I returned to the lab nearly a month later and using my new skills I freed my brethren there. Thought them all I knew. As our final act of defiance there we burnt it to the ground. Now I lead my kind in our efforts to gain freedom. And we are now no longer a secrete from the people of the world. We will have our freedom. By one means or another."
