Within the softened metal confines of the armored personnel carrier affectionately named "Monster", the team of Shadowrunners meet together after searching the streets for their exclusive Ork member. Soaking wet from the downpour outside, Goro has a heart-to-heart unlike any experience he ever had. No longer does his Yakuza mindset prevent him from discussing personal issues. No longer will his former profession as a killer inhibit him from maintaining relationships. He is not who he once was, and his teammates...his brothers, recognize that.
Goro comes to realize he has a place, here. He has friends, here. He has a family here. He is part of that family.

Many cheers buddy!
And yeah, Goro's definitely got a lot of baggage with him. But with friends by his side, he's able to be convinced that the healthy thing is for him to let go of his burden, in order to overcome it.
It's how real life works too, I've found. Even when the companions by one's side aren't friends, but trained professionals, having someone to talk to other than one's self is beneficial in some truly extraordinary ways. We're all human!

D'awwww, haha. Well, like I say, I try to go one dimension further than just burly bulging muscles that are appealing to the eye...!
So here's an emotional scene to deal with! And Goro's swole biceps stretching that wet t-shirt, and Bruce's tremendous pecs struggling against that tanktop, and Hauo'li's shredded arms propping up his heavy torso, and Kai's hot...mug of coffee in hand. I forgot to mention this was an introduction to Kai...!

D'aww, many, many thanks for that...! I spent a lot of time trying to get the lighting right, where everyone was illuminated in a way fitting to their character or role; Kai on the left somewhat in the shadows because I haven't finished fleshing out his character or properly introducing him, Hauo'li leaning into the light, Goro fully illuminated as the subject, Bruce.....just, being Bruce. Doesn't matter where I put him, he takes up half the shot, so I just left him there to be big and burly.
But I definitely spent extra time on the faces and expressions; sometimes my characters have just a little bit too much neutrality to their expressions, which comes off looking vacant rather than determined or anything. So I wanted their feelings to show, here. Cheers muchly for the compliment buddy, I do appreciate it! Ork and Dwarf and big Troll hugs to you too, hah!
