A request for a friend on an idea for a character they had in the Dragonscape. A Mexican Mercenary equipped like a Spanish Rodelero. The idea was pitched that this guy, named Andre would be a part of a larger mercenary group known as Los Rodeleros, based on utilizing a sword and large, buckler like shield. Since VerdaStal metal is effectively bulletproof they can get away with looser tactics oriented on trying to surround and flank enemies in fights.

As long as these folks are paid then there are no problems, they will fight for the highest bidder, typical merc stuff.
However if they dont have a client
They might fall into banditry to keep themselves afloat so it would be wise to simply find a client that is willing to pay for them in a long term job less they start sacking villages or robbing travelers.

That isnt to say they are all a bit on the gray end of morals, there are plenty of good ones among them, Andre, when not working for a client often finds himself working as a guard for the village his family lives in.
