....yeah okay so this is inspired by all those anthro insects that have cropped up lately thanks to  peanutchan, but the character predates that by nearly a decade. He was based off a series of insect magic-users, with Leafe here specializing in illusion-based magic (not an illusionist per se, more like have the ability to make things appear not as they seem, befitting his species). The design has of course been given a helluva makeover, as he closer resembles his species now rather than some weird bug with leaves growing out of him (if ever I find his older sketches, I'll share).
