I wonder if some liquid shapechangers would almost prefer this state to being solidified. The latter might require a little bit of constant effort.

Nice idea. I think if I ever got that good, I'd evaporate rather than melt. It just feels that way, when my mind meditates.

I've considered that. A gaseous state is every bit as legitimate as a liquid one.


Being the water buff you are I'd have thought that liquid would be your more preferred meditative state.

Thanks. These are always handy. I'm torn between drawing the scene like this one with the fur looking almost like he's soaking wet and sloughing off the melting parts, or where they're just descending into a growing pool of themselves. The video makes it look more like the latter is happening, but that's probably because only the bottom is being heated, while a liquid fur would just come apart all at the same time. At least that's what I would guess.

I always thought letting one's body liquefy was a such a soothing and interesting concept. Amazing job!

I agree. I really wonder what kind of state of consciousness someone would have in that state along with how they perceive the world. I think it would be more suitable for relaxing than we could ever do in solid bodies.

I've always pictured is as perception of the world with the entirety of one's liquid mass being a sensory organ. Imagine feeling with every cell of your being as you flow about. It would have to be extremely peaceful as well as enlightening.

This is how I like to relax too, though I generally just lay down when I want to relax and melt. : P

If I lie down I fall asleep.

Sitting up or laying down after a short time the result would be the same.

I'm sure he may have melted from time to time, but I can't remember him ever this relaxed.

In order for him to fight an evil queen, he had to learn to relax. That's when he melted
