Improving Shiny Pokemon: Weedle Family
Sometimes Game Freak and Nintendo do things that make no godforsaken sense with their shinies. I figured I'd run through lineages and give my take on how I'd improve shinies, if I had the power to.
I'll be honest, beedrill -- and mega beedrill too -- terrify me. When I was a kid, I always ended up in a position where I'd get stung by bees or wasps and I HATED going to unfamiliar parks. So when I learned about the Warrior Wasp -- a metallic blue wasp that LOOKS like nature's combined hatred for those who fear bees -- I near about shat the bed. It's also the inspiration for the cool blue color of this shiny bee. The yellow stripes that contrast so sharply are a threat to stay back -- it hurts. Weedle is meant to look like a plump leaf and kakuna is much the same, as it was with caterpie and metapod from my previous entry in this series.
