I know I'm going to get a lot of shit for this, but I don't care.

I'm Pansexual and I'm against Gay Pride Month. I believe people should be treated as equally as possible and Gay Pride Month goes against that. It puts LGBT people on a pedestal and treats them as though they are not equal. If you still want Gay Pride Month, then let straight people have a Straight Pride Month. Before you claim that the rest of the year is Straight Pride Month, where is the celebration of Straightness? Gay Pride Month has decorations, costumes, parades, and things I can't think of off the top of my head. Where's all that for Straight Pride?

A lot of LGBT people claim to be for equality. Equality means no special treatment for being gay. Where does Gay Pride Month fit in the equation?

Unfortunately in this time and age, us LGBT people have been put down for being themselves up until recently. I hope one day we won't need a month and hundreds of parades to be heard, as I'm all for equality too.

On the note of having a Straight Pride Month, Bisexuals and Pansexuals should logically be all for it since they are partially straight themselves. It would give them a chance to celebrate who they are twice.

please don't tell me "it was there" when I clearly see more than 1 pride pics on the same browse page as mine. I was trying to have a good day, and it seems like everyone, even people i don't know are trying to put me down. if you want to rant, please don't do so on someone else's drawing. its fucking rude.
