At first I didn't like being forced to play as Blinky for the majority of the game just because you need to make use of his wall/ice-smashing needs. But he's actually a fun character. Sure, he flies kind of like Ralph from The Greatest American Hero, but I used him to permanently stay on top of the giant ball on the Red Planet without getting hit by the ceiling spikes, and also used him when I stood under the boss at the end of the Salvage Chute without getting crushed. Having a shorter sprite size can sometimes exploit advantages in games.
