The Return of the Storm King! (Birthday Gift)
Yesterday I found out that it is
NecroFeline birthday today!
So as a gift for her I made this little thing, where her favourite MLP Villain might have a chance at coming back!
(I mean, what better gift is there then making a story putting two of her favourite Male crushes from the show in the same story? XP)
Including some other characters that she likes, and I hope that she (As well as the rest of you) will love this little gift piece.
Storm King and the rest of MLP belongs to Hasbro.
After much hard battles it had finally happen.
The Storm King was gone, and everyone was finally free from his terror of a rule!
In central Canterlot from which the final battle had been taking place there was a huge evening feast tossed in order to celebrate the brave Ponies that had been saving them all!
Along for the celebration was also some of the former ruler's closest allies like Tempest Shadows and Grubber, as well as most of his lackeys. (Showing that when having a choice next to nobody wanted to actually work for him.)
For Grubber it was mostly the food that won him over, as the chubby Hedgehog was way into his 16th slice of cake when he stopped something a bit further away from the party.
Since the party had been tossed so closely after the war had ended the battleground was still left untouched, and as Grubber had his way in there he saw something that made him feel a bit to stunned to eat more from his cake slice at the moment.
It was the broken remains of the statue that the Storm King had become turned into, before then being fallen off from the Castle's balcony and smashed into tiny pieces!
Despite having never liked working for the guy it was still more then a bit morbid for Grubber to see shattered carcass of his former boss, where the only part still looking somewhat whole was the one of the top half of his head.
Standing there all alone with the statue head Grubber decided to try and give some kind of proper "Goodbye" before then parting ways with his old boss.
"Well, this is a pretty awkward attempt at a speech, but I hope you like it." Grubber said to the dead looking statue skull as he went on.
"I know things doesn't always work out the way you want them to. You wanted to conquered the world, and instead you became shattered into like a billion pieces! It's a though break but that's how it is sometimes. So...no hard feelings or anything, but I will now be getting back so that I can have some more of that delicious cake. See ya!"
But right as Grubber was making his way back towards the big party to celebrate the end of the Storm King a VERY familiar voice could be heard saying back to him, "NOT SO FAST!!!" which sent a shiver of fear right through the back of Grubber as she stopped dead in his tracks!
Looking back he could see how that seemingly lifeless statue head of the Storm King was trying to move itself, as it was slightly scraping the ground as it was turning itself and the previously motionless eyes was now starring right at him!
"B-Boss?!" Grubber said terrified as the statue head let out an evil laughter and said, "Oh yes! I am still alive!!!"
This was not something that Grubber had been expecting to happen, as what he thought was for sure his recently deceased leader was indeed now communicating to him via the statue head!
"Now you might be wondering how I am being able to do this, don't you?" The voice of the Storm King asked as he didn't even listen to what Grubber's answer was as he continued on saying, "When casting my curses I always make sure to try and include a way for it to be helpful to me, in case of something like I don't know, THEY WOULD MAKE ME A STATUE AND SMASH ME!!!"
"So you are able to now live again and continue on with your plans for worlds domination? Okay, good luck with that!" Grubber said as he was about to run away when the Storm King demanded him to say and said, "No, you fool! As you can see I am barley even just a head of my former self, and I can't do anything on my own while I am still like this!"
"So how are you planning at taking over the world then?" Grubber asked curiously as the Storm King explained that he had actually been having a plan ready in case something like this would ever happen to him.
"Granted, I only thought it would be something small like a "chipped off piece of Toenail" or something, but this is a lot more...extreme." The Storm King said as Grubber asked on how he was planning on trying to get his old body back again?
"There is a hidden temple deep within the Jungles, that contains the secret on how to revival the ones that have lost great parts of the body." The head of the Storm King explained before then adding, "But I can't get to there on my own, so I will need YOUR help to carry me there." as he looked onto Grubber.
"I really don't know if I should do this. I have just started to become friends with all of these Ponies, you see?" A very unsure Grubber said as the Storm King then gave him an offer that the former ruler knew that his always hungry Hedgehog friend couldn't resist.
"Help me regain my former glory, and I will give you more cakes to eat then ever before!" The Storm King offered as Grubber was seen first drooling up a whole lake, before then trying to act as a "smart business person" by asking, "Will there be extra cream on those cakes?"
"There will be as much cream as you can wish for." The Storm King head said as Grubber was thinking about for a moment before then saying "Deal!"
It was not an easy decision to leave all of his new friends (Including the closest one he had in the shape of Tempest) but there was no turning back for the plan to help bring back the Storm King to his glory days, as he was carrying the talking statue head with him and taking them both to the hidden temple in the Jungles.
It wasn't so easy either to try navigating through the Jungle environment while carrying a heavy statue head almost the size of himself, while having said head talking all the time about taking the wrong directions, holding him badly, or just not doing a good enough job.
Eventually after wandering for almost the entire night they had managed to find the temple, and looking by the sight it there doesn't seem to have been anyone using it in a long time.
"Only means that we wont get bothered by others. Come now Grubber and get inside!" The Storm King head said as they went inside, without knowing that hidden in the shadows there was somebody watching them!
Once inside Grubber was first told to place the head of the Storm King statue onto a pedestal in the middle of the room, before then being told about 100 other things that he needed to do before the sun was in position to shine into a hole in the roof.
"Paint out these symbols! Decorate those rocks! Get those vines out of the way so the sun can shine in better!" Was only some of the orders that the Storm King was barking onto poor Grubber, as the tubby Hedgehog was trying his hardest to please his boss and make sure this thing would work out right.
Finally when everything was settled a very tried Grubber was asking his boss on just what all of this was suppose to do, as the Storm King once again made it clear that this was all to have him finally become back to his glory days again. (While also admitting that most of the decoration things was not really needed, as he just wanted the place to look at it's best for when he would make his grand entrance.)
"All that is really needed is for the first rays of sunlight to hit me while I am resting on top of this pedestal, and then I will back once more!" The Storm King's head proclaimed proudly as a third voice could be heard saying "I was curious on just what you two where doing when wandering into my domains!" as the mystical creature came out from the dark!
Walking into view both the Storm King and Grubber watched in awe over this huge beast that they where in company with, as it looked like big blue Panther, but with the huge jaws of a Crocodile, and a Monkey's hand as it's tail.
"Let me introduce myself properly. My name is Ahuizolt, and I am here to now drive you out of my home." The big Aztec beast said as the Storm King statue head was not going to let this happen to his grand plan on revival, as he ordered Grubber to attack the monster!
Having basically no choice but to do as his master told him a very scared Grubber came charging towards Ahuizolt and tried to deliver a series of (very weak) punches, only to them have himself getting grabbed and pulled into the air by the hand tail of his opponent!
Ahuizolt looked like he was about to take and eat the pudgy little Grubber as the Storm King head couldn't seem to care less about him as he laughed and said, "Yes! You go ahead and eat him, while giving me enough time to have the sun hit me and make my transformation into my full-sized self happen!"
This made Ahuizolt stop his Grubber eating plans midair as he got curious and asked his captured foe "Does he get to grow very big when transformed?" as the super scared Grubber said, "Y-Yes! He will get huge! Not as huge as you, I think. But still very tall and big!" which made Ahuizolt deciding to drop the little guy and instead start walking towards the pedestal holding the head of the Storm King!
"You fat, worthless fool! Why did you have to give him ideas like that?!" The Storm King head asked out in anger as he started to fear he might not stay on the pedestal for long enough to get the transformation started.
As Ahuizolt was slowly approaching the Storm King really was starting to realize on just how helpless he truly was when like this, as all he could do was pray that the morning sun would come and save him!
Just as Ahuizolt had ended up right in front of him and grabbed a hold onto his stone horns with both of his front paws did the Sun deciding to rise, and as the stone head of Storm King was getting touched by the rays he could already feel how the process of changing was happening!
"HAH! You lost! Once I am fully grown back there will be nothing you can do to stop the might STORM KING!" The still statue head said into the long face of Ahuizolt, as the Jungle monster suddenly had his own idea on what to do about it.
"We will see about that." Ahuizolt said as he then suddenly started to open his mighty jaws very widely, and before the Storm King knew it he was being shoved inside and swallowed down straight into the belly of the beast!
Once landing into the smelly gut of the Aztec creature did the Storm King head start to feel how the changes was truly happening, as he was feeling his entire body starting to grow back out again!
He could feel himself getting both arms and legs again, as well as fur starting to grow back out all over him.
It was truly just what he had been planning, except for one little thing.
He was currently inside of the belly of a monster!!!
As he was growing back into his full size did the Storm King start to feel just how cramped the belly actually was, as he could barley move as his whole body was being forced into a crawled up position!
On the outside Grubber watched on in horror as his boss was ending up growing into a giant bulge from Ahuizolt's belly, which Ahuizolt himself seemed to be pretty pleased with.
"Let me out of here! You can't do this to me! I am the ruler of everything!" The Storm King shouted out in desperation, as he couldn't believe this might be how it all was going to end for him.
For Ahuizolt this was all so much more fulfilling then he could have ever imagine, as he let out a big burp before then asking his meal to "Settle down in there, if you please." and then looking back at Grubber.
Knowing his own luck he was just imagining that after this beast had been done digesting his former boss then he would go after him for dessert!
But instead the very well filled Ahuizolt was just licking his lip and rubbing his still struggling gut as he looked at the tiny and fat Grubber and said, "If I was you now I would take the chance and run, while I am still to full to chase after you."
Grubber didn't needed to be told twice as he was off faster then a speeding bullet, as Ahuizolt settled down in the temple with his now fully restored meal and said, "Looks like he wasn't as faithful to you after all." before then looking around and adding "But thanks for having him re-decorate my place. It was centauries since something was done here."
As he was escaping into the Jungle he knew that he couldn't tell any of the ponies upon returning that he had been trying to bring one of their greatest enemies back to life!
But thinking more about it why would they even believe him if he told them?
What was he going to say? That the statue head told him to take it to a temple, where a big multi-species beast showed up and ate him right when he was about to get reborn?
They all thought that the Storm King perished once he was shattered as a statue, and if he hadn't been gone after that then he would for sure be that now!
