I'm Will. You're stupid. So quit staring!
It's Will, a character I'd like to have alongside Bryan in that comic strip I may have mentioned.
He looks angrier than I thought he would. I'm not totally satisfied after all the time I spent trying to get that face. He's supposed to be a wolf, but I don't know that you can tell just by the lines. Gawd, I just couldn't get it right...
I like how I put grease stains on his Burger Meister work shirt. Anybody who's been anywhere near a fast food restaurant employee knows you can't keep those shirts clean no matter what you do... And yes, I know what else BM stands for. That was the point. :D
I forgot a tail. DAMMIT! Oh well. I'll pretend the angle would hide his tail. ;)

Will is the guy who worked hard to do everything right as a kid, only to have everything go absolutely wrong just when it looked like he was about to get started on a great life. He's got a college education, but rather than being able to get a good job he ended up broke and homeless. The only thing that saved him from a life of crime and misery was a spur of the moment decision to break into a then-empty apartment so he wouldn't have to sleep in the snow. By sheer dumb luck, Bryan moved into that very apartment the next morning and let the poor wolf stay with him.
Now Will spends his days mooching off the bear, acting as a live in maid when he isn't - going to work at a fast food restaurant to avoid being completely destitute; lounging around the apartment while playing video games; engaged in feverish creative sessions in one of his artistic endeavors; sitting down to marathon sessions of watching free porn.
Given the crappy turn his life has taken, Will is rather bitter and pessimistic. He's come to expect the worst out of life and people, and isn't afraid to voice his negative opinions about anyone or anything. He simply doesn't give a damn anymore. As a result, most people quickly decide they don't like him. He makes enemies easily, finding himself forced endure harsh criticisms and even the occasional fist because of his mouth. But those who knew him from his younger days understand the change in him and forgive his angst and sarcasm, recognizing that for the most part he's accurate in his attacks against people and things he perceives as ridiculous.
Those few who take time to look past his walls of irritation and bored indifference realize he's a very sensitive and insecure person who, above all else, wants to be understood and appreciated for what's good about him. Even though he tries to push everyone away, resentful of the way they seem to have achieved what he couldn't with much less effort, what he fears most is being alone his whole life. His ultimate dream is of being free to live as he really is, and to be accepted in spite of it. To that end, he shows surprising generosity and patience to those he feels closest to.
Although Will often talks about the past, he rarely touches on the good parts. They're always mentioned only in passing, or as a frame of reference for how everything went wrong in spite of how hard he worked to be successful, in as little detail as possible. Sometimes it comes out as complaining, other times as resigned despair. But, on rare occasions, Will is reminded of cheerful memories by something and can't help but smile. It's a thin grin, but compared to his usual look of irritation or indifference, it's enough to make him seem like a completely different person.
