Background makes me think is on top of a cliff or mountain plateau. Could use a little more space between the feet to give more feeling of body width. nice looking tail and wings. His head seems a little small for the body, but I don't know the character design you worked from, it could be right. Good work on his feet, the toes are nice looking :)
