Brewery:
Weisses Bräuhaus G. Schneider & Sohn GmbH
Name: Tap 5 Schneider & Brooklyner Hopfenweisse
Style: Weizenbock
Bottle: 1pt .9oz
Appearance: dark gold. A classic beer appearance.
Pours: With some carbonation but no great fanfare.
Smell: Lemon, herbs, and black tea.
Taste: first few swallows had some pleasant lemony spiciness. Afterwards though There’s a flat, atonal sourness to this beer. Like each swallow is followed by some thats-too-bad, you-failed trombone ‘Wa-Waah’ sound.
Mouthfeel: hangs around like a loudly awkward and annoying party guest who doesn’t get hints they’re making everyone uncomfortable, killing the party and should leave.
Rating: 4.6 If they could bottle the essence of a Debbie Downer this would be it.
