"Huurk! What the hell?!" Kodai yelped as he attempted to button his pants, which was a struggle considering his girth. "Dad, I thought you said these pants were new?!"

"They are," Goliath began, standing in the frame of his son's dorm room as he watched him struggle. "And those are the largest they had for someone your age."

"You've gotta be freaking kidding me?!" Kodai questioned, sucking in his gut to try and bring the buttons closer. "They had to have bigger sizes at the store!"

"They did, but I figured that you wouldn't want to wear pants that wear too long in the length department. Plus, seeing you struggle like the Fat Boy you are is rather amusing to me."

"I ain't FAT!" Kodai yelled, getting the attention of his space goblin pet who was sleeping on his bed as well as the attention of several officers out in the hallway. Kodai could swear that he heard some light snickers as well. "I'm just a little chubby, that's all!"

"You've been saying that for the past few years, son," Goliath stated flatly, rolling his eyes at his son's pitiful attempt at an excuse. "Maybe it's about time that you lose some weight?"

"Or maybe I should start getting some custom clothes," Kodai muttered to himself, though it wasn't low enough to miss Goliath's ears. The older Zephyrite felt himself cringe at the thought.

'Great,' Goliath thought to himself. 'Yet another expense added to my account...' He wasn't looking forward to his monthly bank statement...
