Every Ra'veira has a name rune, which is as the name implies, a runic representation of their name. It comes to represent them and holds special significance. When they choose a mate, its not uncommon to show the bond by merging runes into one and wearing the new mark on your body, just above your heart. This rune shows that Rhyn'ka, Sukeun and Rei'sheira are all lifemates, though Rhyn will probably wear his mark on the right instead of the left, because of his scar.
