Poppycock! That's a perfect outfit for the season of Flerb.
Ah, Flerb! There's nothing quite like the clammy thrill of a cold, sultry Flerb morning, when the polyps are in full bloom. The second sun rises early and sets late, washing away shadows and making the methane ice steam. It only comes around 2 1/2 times a year, so enjoy it while you can.

reducing fertility to not exceed mortality so that the body heat of their sheer numbers doesn't raise global temperatures.
and yes of course, replacing technologies that do with those that don't.
also reforestration, not deforestration. and no massive areas of pavement that raise local temperatures either.
but mainly reducing their birthrate to not crowd out the diversity of other species sharing their world.

I personally don't think "aliens" in the space alien meaning of the word would necessarily have the same sorts of climate problems that we human beings on earth would, and I could not guess what sort of problems they WOULD have, and therefore consider the joke title that I used for this drawing to be a silly question to ask, and consequently I do not seek to have a non-silly discussion about it. I allow comments here because I also posted a drawing, which I thought was the more obvious component of the matter, and encourage people to comment on THAT. I could post the title without the drawing, and I don't, because I don't want to talk about the title, because the title is a joke, because the titles have ALWAYS been jokes, all 500 or so going back almost ten years.
This has happened before, and it always is irritating. I do not introduce topics that I want to talk about and then say nothing about them. And I do not post drawings with the intent that they will be ignored in favor of some tiny bit of only barely-related text that I copied from someplace else. it would be fair to say "i resent you using this important topic as a joke in promotion of a frivolous drawing." bimshwel.com is where I talk about topics.
Every title I have ever used here has had the same level of significance. so I think context alone ought to indicate that this one should not be interpreted as my own personal comment on the image or anything else. I can imagine that as a viewer, any person may not remember the eccentricities of every other person whose pages they are looking at, But on that occasion I was annoyed because *I* remembered that the person taking the title seriously and remarking on THAT while disregarding the drawing had also done so previously, and this second person had not looked over the other comments before saying something like that even though there were not many, and possibly also had done that previously. And I take THIS seriously because being understood is important you always elusive to me, no matter how many times and how meticulously I explain everything.
