Ra'nizar (Skyrim/Elder Scrolls Character)
This was made by my awesome friend
Nuka_Hyena! His backstory is more or less the same as every other person's characters in Skyrim in regards to the quests that he's undertaken, however he's pursued a wide variety of modded quests such as Clockwork Castle, Rigmor of Bruma and Rigmor of Cyrodiil to give him further personalization.

Ra'nizar was born in the Elsweyr/Cyrodiil border town of Riverhold. His mother died in childbirth, with his father--a mercenary of renowned status--being left to raise him. Unbeknownst to Ra'nizar's father, he himself had the blood of dragons instilled within his veins, and he had passed it down to his son; destined to be a champion for all of Tamriel. Yet he was not but five years of age when assassins, hired by the hated enemies his father had fought on the battlefields, covertly murdered him in his sleep. With few to trust in a hostile world, he carried away with him the two fire-enchanted kilij scimitars his father had used for years as a warrior, and stowed away on the first caravan he laid eyes on in the marketplaces of Riverhold.
For weeks Ra'nizar hid amongst the wares and goods being transported, unsure of where he would ultimately end up or if he would even survive. He remembered his father's words that he had spoken when he was little more than a kitten. "When you're old enough, these kilij scimitars will be yours. Some day I will teach you in the mastery of such blades, and there will be no finer swordsman in Tamriel than you, my son." Thus, alone and faced with the demise of his father, Ra'nizar took it upon himself that he alone would carry on his father's legacy as a mighty fighter.
The caravan ended up concluding its journey in Skyrim's trading hub of Solitude, and upon the unloading of the goods aboard the many wagon trains, the young khajiit, huddled inside a crate full of iron ore and clutching his father's kilij scimitars, was discovered by a local blacksmith from Falkreath who was in town to receive the shipment for his forge. The smith took pity on the miserable child, and before long he had taken him into his home and apprenticed him in the art of forging weapons and armor.
By twenty years of age, Ra'nizar had become a master smith, and over the years had crafted his unique set of ebony light armor. With the utmost gratitude to the blacksmith who had taken him in and trained him in his ways, the khajiit said his goodbyes and began his life of adventure throughout Skyrim, intent on living up to the legacy of his deceased father.
At first he began with petty jobs of helping local jarls with bandits and minor disputes and errands, but in due time the nation had plunged itself into civil war, and he would have to pick a side to fight for: The Empire or the Stormcloaks of Skyrim. Despite the many prejudices harbored by Skyrim's Nord majority against his race, he was no doubt grateful to this land he now called home, and to the Nord blacksmith that had taken him in. His heart yearned to grant Skyrim its freedom from the Empire, and he thus began his journey towards fame and fortune as one of the finest soldiers at the disposal of the Stormcloaks, and Ra'nizar was ultimately instrumental in bringing about their victory.
During his service, however, he had exhibited unexplained rage upon the battlefield and unmatched martial prowess. Rumors began to circulate that he was the Dragonborn, destined to defeat Alduin. Surely, a lone warrior so contributory towards Stormcloak victory had to be of a nature that was bestowed by gods. At the behest of the now free peoples of Skyrim--whom had defeated the Empire but now faced the threat of Alduin and his dragons unleashed upon the world--he ascended the peaks of the country to the Greybeards and Paarthunax at the Throat of the World, becoming trained in the ways of the Dovahkiin so that he could defeat Alduin and banish the draconic overlords that sought to reassert themselves in Tamriel.
At long last, Ra'nizar had gained the knowledge required to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, and entering Sovngarde he fought alongside the ancient Nord heroes to bring about the dragon's demise once and for all. With his renown now unmatched, people from all over the land went to seek him out for his help, and a great many adventures began to present themselves to the khajiit Dragonborn. Shortly after defeating Alduin, the Dawnguard sought his services to crush the vampiric threat that had arisen in Skyrim, and that threatened to grow beyond its borders at the behest of Harkon, the vampire lord. Here too, with his newfound powers as Dragonborn, he stemmed the vampiric tide that threatened the people of Nirn, and was inducted into the Dawnguard as one of its finest champions.
From there he then encountered Ba-Ren'dar, a fellow khajiit that hired him to become the guardian of Rigmor of Bruma, a former slave to the Altmeri Dominion that had a past as deep and complex as Ra'nizar's. Growing close to one another, Rigmor and Ra'nizar formed an inseparable bond of comradery, where the khajiit saw it as his sworn duty to protect the Nord girl upon her quest for vengeance against the Altmer and those that had torn her life apart. With her guardian's help, she successfully led the combined forces of the Empire and Skyrim against a splinter faction of the Altmer, known as the New Order, that threatened to plunge the world into war again. Upon her victory, Imperial edict was passed that gave Rigmor her inherited titles of Bruma in Cyrodiil, and she thereby returned to manage the land as Countess, with Ra'nizar vowing to return once more as her protector when she needed him most.
In the meantime, Ra'nizar had begun one of his most daring adventures yet, deep into the Velothi Mountains between Morrowind and Skyrim, in search of a rumored residence built to function as the old cities of the Dwemer had. Known as Clockwork Castle, he uncovered the haunted mansion and its nearby caves and ruins, breaking the curses that had gripped the place since the death of its constructor, Ludwig, hundreds of years ago. The only reason it had lasted for as long as it did until Ra'nizar found it were the Dwemer machines keeping the residence in order, until a new master had arrived. That master was now Ra'nizar, and he made Clockwork Castle his new home.
Now operating out of the mansion as his base of operations, Ra'nizar began a quest to fight Miraak, a new foe who threatened the nearby island of Solstheim. A dragonborn from ages past, Miraak attempted to wrench away control of the island with the help of Hermaeus Mora, before moving on to dominate Tamriel entirely. However daunting the task was, Ra'nizar took it upon himself to immerse himself in Hermaeus Mora's deceptive ways in order to stop Miraak from regaining his former powers and unleashing them upon the world. Ra'nizar stopped him by destroying him, but in doing so he had been forced to strike a deal with the Daedra Hermaeus Mora, inadvertently becoming his "champion" in the process.
Despite this title, Ra'nizar made his return to Rigmor and uncovered a plot by Morag Bal, in cahoots with Molag Bal, to tear apart order and peace in Cyrodiil. She had installed a new emperor, of which she was the puppetmaster, and with him planned to commence an invasion of Tamriel with the Akaviri. This, coupled with the chaos of civil war instigated by her attempted exiling of Rigmor, was to tear the nations of Tamriel asunder, but not before the dragonborn Ra'nizar rescued the Countess Rigmor and reasserted order by slaying Morag Bal and assaulting the Imperial City to dictate terms of surrender to the warring parties in Cyrodiil.
