Sneasel is one of my favorite pokemon so I wouldnt trade them for the beta design, but I like that design a lot too and they should have kept the pure dark type. . .
Wolfman is really good too, I think we got parts of their design in the form swinub's evoline and snorunt, so I dont think we are going to ever see the design being revisited...
