I get the occasional wild turkey in my back yard... they usually bee line for the coop. I use to joke it was cause they thought my Chickens were hot but, I know they are just scheming how to get at the food

the funniest thing I saw from them was this winter. there had been a thaw then refreeze so the ground was a sheet of Ice under a dusting of snow. I went to check my hens and there were turkey tracks on the path to the coop. one footprint was smeared and then a bid swath of snow was wiped off the Ice. I laughed thinking the bird must have slipped on the ice, jut as I slipped in the same place landing ass over teakettle
