Clickety-clack reviews: 2001 wooden railway thomas
Hello & welcome to a new series called clickety-clack reviews. A series where I showcase a Thomas item and tell you my history with the item and my thoughts about it. I decided to start the series with none other than Thomas himself.
My history: I know what some of you guys may be thinking; "this must be his first Thomas ever". Sadly that's not the case, as this isn't my first Thomas I ever got. That Thomas is long gone, along with the 4 or 5 other Thomas's that came after it. All of them being from 2005. This Thomas is my current one and the one That I use when I need a visit to the island of sodor. As for how I got it... I managed to find it at a flea market my old town used to hold every few months it only really cost me $1 which is far too cheap for a Thomas from the 2000 era. It's a bit beat up, but that just shows this was a well-loved toy, and I'm glad that it had a lovely previous life.
Pros:
1: the shape of this Thomas feels just right when I put it with my bigger engines.
2: the face is the best one I've seen on a wooden Thomas model. He has that cheeky look, but at the same time his smile looks very gentle. Unlike the 2002-2010 Thomas which has a smile that's way too bright and overwhelming.
Cons: surprisingly none.
Final score 10/10 practically perfect in every way and I definitely recommend it to anyone.

We may be adults or teen physically, but some of us are mentally kids. Just because we're older doesn't mean we can't enjoy things meant for a younger age group.
The franchise is meant for families, not just kids. I loved watching Thomas with my parents, and they loved it as well.

me too. But that's the least of my wooden worries right now. Because toys r us is closing AND because I only really buy imaginarium track (which I think might have been store-brand) I'll have to find a place to buy more track for my layout which will be pretty hard considering only other place I can get track at is mardel and the track there is EXPENSIVE. So I'm kinda in a right state.
