I knew he was getting older, but I thought we had more time with him.
Mr. Bailey left this world June 2nd, 2018. He had his mom and dad with him to comfort him in his final moments.
It killed me not being there with him. I was out of state at the time, looking for presents for him. I called and asked my brother the kind of things Mr. B liked. And then my brother broke down. Something my brother never does.
They had taken him to the vet and found that he had cancer and two weeks at best. Two painful weeks. So, they put him to sleep on that weekend.
This pic was from our last Christmas with B. I wish I could have had more holidays with you.
Thank you all so much for liking and commenting on all the pics with him. I know he would have loved to meet each and every one of you.
Goodbye, Mr. Bailey. You showed the world that pitbulls were nothing to be afraid, you gave us so much joy and friendship, and kept us all safe (even if we caught you napping on the job more often than not, but who are we kidding, you loved everyone you met).
God broke the mold with you. I am grateful He let us have you.

Sympathy and condolences on your family loss. It's always hard to let go, our beloved pets most of all. They ask so little but give us so much and our time with them is shorter than we want to understand.
May your brother and his Girlfriend be comforted that they were loved and did the best by him they could do.
