Early this year I was commissioned to create a she-wolf: my only instructions during her creations was that she was to be powerful, beautiful, and have a larger-than-life personality. Luckily I had already made Donovan, so it was easy enough for me to take what I had already learned during his creation and use it as a basis for the creation of this wonderful lady.
With Donovan I hand-made his props with found objects (like driftwood, and crystals I had laying around on my alter), but with this particular doll I took matters into my own hands (and my own computer) and modeled and 3D printed a good portion of her props. Her cape and quiver were both hand-sewn from patterns I made myself, but her bow and arrows were 3D printed; the best part was testing out her arrows and finding that they had a good 3 foot distance with the way I crafted everything!
