The past few weeks, I've pretty much exclusively working in my backyard or making stuff for my backyard.
I was duly inspired by pinterest (which is a VERY dangerous place for me to go because I want to build e v e r y t h i n g) to make more or less of a fairy garden. This is in the east corner of my yard, which has been pretty shady and barren for the time I'v lived here.
What you see here is a "mushroom" made of recycled wood, a little gnome house made of paper mache, recycled plastic containers, and a lot of hot glue. The broken pottery was a gift from a close family friend, that I actually went to see last Saturday after a good eight years of not having visited. The pottery broke when I moved from my old house back when I was 12 years old, and being the hoarder I am I kept the remains, and poof, six years later I found a use for it.
This project to decorate my backyard is also removing a lot of random shit I've scavenged and hoarded too, so yay.
