This makes mad. People call the ceremonial cavalry regiment anti-germanic when they were the evils whom bear the ultimate sin
Let me tell you some about my Polish Cavalry unit.
In 1939 the 2nd Grochow Uhlan Regiment (me regiment) in the Armed forces of Poland Republic.
And was one of the first to have the balls to take on Nazi German greed at the charge of Krojanty
Now the Cavalry part is more or less ceremonial and most members are part of the Kraków Armored Regiment and light infantry.
Being that the original Cavalry unit fought in both world wars, World War 1 it was created underground to aid Polish peoples resistance fighting, and at WW1’s end it became part of the official Polish Land Force.
and world war 2 in 1939 they help alongside other Cavalry Regiments at Krojanty, armed with anti-tank rifles over 300 mounts charged that day bravely against Panzer-armor.
Although a loss, i would say the courage is admirable and deserves respect and justifies one of my Regiments ceremonial songs.

We won't forsake the land we came from,
We won't let our speech be buried.
We are the Polish nation, the Polish people,
From the royal line of Piast.
We won't let the enemy oppress us.
So help us God!
So help us God!
To the last blood drop in our veins
We will defend our Spirit
Till into dust and ash shall fall,
The Teutonic Order's windstorm.
Every doorsill shall be a fortress.
So help us God!
So help us God!
The German won't spit in our face,
Nor Germanise our children,
Our host will arise in arms,
Spirit will lead the way.
We will go when the golden horn sounds.
So help us God!
So help us God!
We won't have Poland's name defamed,
We won't step alive into a grave.
In Poland's name, in its honor
We lift our foreheads proudly,
The grandson will regain his forefathers' land
So help us God!
So help us God!
