Here is a quick mock-up test fit of all the components in the controller.
This wireless controller will allow you to seamlessly switch from autonomous movements to manual control and back at any time.
The shell will be rounded out for the final version and a grip will be added to improve comfort.
The battery will be replaced through a sliding hatch at the bottom.
Code can be updated or tweaked through a special port hidden under the grip.

Thanks! Depending on the species that the tail is intended for, the tail will move with you based on input from the accelerometer in the base of the tail. It will detect your walking speed and sway according to your step rate, shift from side to side when taking a turn, and wag or twitch when standing idle. Those are the basics at least. The reactivity of these movements can be adjusted by clicking the thumbsticks axially. Oh, and that's just the on/off switch between the thumbsticks. That's just where it had to be. XD
I'll just say that endeavoring to make this tail great enough for a community even greater has taken an equal combination of time, resources, and commitment that might almost match the level of fulfillment I've gained in return.
