The city of WIlliamston, MI puts on an annual dog trick-or-treat where pet owners can bring their furry friends out for literally games and treats for dogs. I've had the privilege to participate three or four times, though the past few years, I have been away on business overseas, so I've missed it. It's usually a lot of fun, and we get all kinds of interesting reactions from our smallest guests. There is a costume contest (I never win!), and a raffle (I won a dog dish once). Even a dog show (I lost the 'biggest dog' category to a great dane). This picture actually made the front page of the Lansing State Journal. The comments on the news reader's forums were hilarious! Especially those people who assumed that I was the guy who lived a lifestyle of being a dog full-time. So sorry, I've got kids and a wife who aren't ready for me to be a full time dog! The readers actually got me confused with
Boomer_The_Dog. Boomer's cool, though - I've enjoyed meeting him a few times. Maybe again in a few weeks, when I visit Anthrocon?
