May I ask a question?

Why bothering covering up a a character's eye with hair if you're just going to draw the eye there anyway? That just strikes me as poor character design, really.

I draw the eyes first and then move on to everything else. I normally don't color sketches; usually, I do line work, first. But, I didn't want to do the line work. As far as why I didn't erase it, well, idk. I did do that to some of my older works as well and y'know, I really don't know why I did it. I just did. Go figure :/

Well, uh, kay. Because it doesn't look good. At all.

Also, the arms on this dude are comically short. Stand up straight with your arms at your sides and see where your hands reach. The finger tips should end around the mid-thigh. You have them ending up at his crotch.
